Safari Highlight
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your journey to Serengeti begins at 7:30am. You’ll travel a long, occasionally bumpy road that offers a scenic game drive through the crater highlands before reaching the Serengeti plains.
The drive usually takes six to seven hours. Weather permitting, you’ll stop briefly at the crater viewpoint past the Ngorongoro gate for a 10-minute break to view the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to Serengeti.
You’ll have a hot lunch at the Serengeti Naabi Hill gate, then check in at the park for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you’ll head to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Note: You may visit a Maasai village at no extra cost. However, as the experience has become more commercial in recent years, most guests choose not to participate.

Day 2: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
You will leave the campsite at around 6:00am with a packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active. After a bush breakfast picnic, you’ll continue the game drive before returning to camp for a hot lunch. You will then depart for Ngorongoro, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
You’ll begin your day at 6:00am, heading into the crater with a packed breakfast. The area is home to diverse East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino. The crater covers about 260 square kilometres with a diameter of approximately 20 kilometres, so you’ll spend five to six hours exploring.
After exploring, you’ll return to the campsite for a hot lunch, then begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving around 5:00 to 6:00pm. Drop-off at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport is also available.
