Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park (Game Drive)

Your safari adventure with Kiota Adventures begins today! After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours 20 minutes).

Tarangire is known for giant baobabs, large elephant herds, and a beautiful landscape of savannah, swamps, and the Tarangire River—one of Tanzania's top wildlife hotspots.

Enjoy an exciting game drive to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeest, warthogs, elands, and diverse birds. Lunch is served at a scenic picnic site in the park.

Continue game viewing, then drive to your campsite in Tarangire for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive in Tarangire → Cultural Visit in Mto wa Mbu

Begin your day with a sunrise game drive, the best time to see active wildlife. After, enjoy breakfast and explore more of Tarangire before leaving the park.

Drive to Mto wa Mbu, a lively town near Lake Manyara, for lunch and a cultural experience. Visit banana farms, rice fields, artisans, homes, and, if you wish, explore on foot or by bike.

In the evening, relax at Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu → Serengeti National Park (Afternoon Game Drive)

After breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park (about 4–5 hours, road conditions permitting). The drive offers scenic views through Ngorongoro Highlands.

Stop for a picnic lunch near Naabi Hill Gate, then enter Serengeti for an afternoon game drive across the endless golden plains.

After enjoying a stunning Serengeti sunset, head to Seronera Public Campsite (Tumbili) for dinner and overnight inside the park.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti. Start at sunrise, return to camp for breakfast, then go out with a packed lunch for game viewing.

The Serengeti is home to the Big Five, herds of wildebeest and zebra, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Besides big mammals, the Serengeti is also a paradise for bird lovers with over 500 recorded bird species, including ostriches, secretary birds, eagles, and many more.

After an exciting day, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Early Morning Serengeti Game Drive → Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

Start the day early at around 6:00 a.m. for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti—one last chance to enjoy the morning action when predators and grazers are most active.

Stop mid-morning for a bush breakfast, then continue game viewing before heading back to camp for a hot lunch.

Pack up and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the highlands later. Dinner and overnight at Simba Public Campsite on the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari → Return to Arusha

Today is your safari's grand finale. Start early around 6:00 a.m., descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast, then enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime game drive.

The crater, often called the '8th Wonder of the World,' offers excellent chances to see black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and more—all inside this beautiful natural bowl.

After 5–6 hours exploring, ascend for your final lunch, then drive to Arusha, arriving around 5:00–6:00 p.m.

You will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
